Anne – Steel Railing

Description

Welcome the Anne set of railings to the family. These new, yet timeless designs are the perfect choice for both modern and traditional settings.

Fully fabricated, treated and finished in our East Midlands HQ, they are the finishing touch to any project. All our designs are made with the same heavy-duty steel and finished in the same hard-wearing coating, meaning you can be sure they will last a lifetime.

The materials are all selected not just for their looks or their hardiness, but also for their sustainability.

Our designs are made to look great on any property as well as tie in to our gate designs.

All our railings come in the same size bands. These are based on the most common sizes we have found over many years.

If you are looking at balustrades, just choose your height and width, then add the posts you need. For railings, please specify the width and height, and we will determine the required bracket type later to avoid any issues.

 

Sizes

Our railings’ sizes range from 400mm wide up to a maximum panel width of 3600mm. Height-wise, our railings come in heights ranging from 300mm to a maximum of 1500mm. (if you need anything outside of that please get in touch with us)

 

Powdercoat

We like to ensure all our gates, railings and balustrades are built to last and to keep them looking as good as new, we always recommend powder coating and in high-risk zones, we recommend our Zinc Protect system.

• Standard powder coat comes in Black, anthracite and white
• We offer any RAL colour at an extra cost
• Our Zinc Protect system is for especially corrosive environments or just to give your gates a longer life.

Brackets

As standard, our railings come with 4 offset brackets when under 1000mm high. They come with one lower support for every metre of railing. When over a metre, they come with our standard pillar-mounted balustrade brackets and can be used as a simple railing or a balustrade. For any other scenario, we can custom make brackets to suit just about any scenario, so get in touch.

 

Posts

For pillarless fixing, you will need a post. How this is used is down to you. We have listed the most common types of posts, and these will work in almost every scenario.

• Bolt down foot. These allow you to bolt down to existing concrete, such as a floor or driveway. They don’t need any digging and come with four bolts per post.
• Dig in posts. These come with no foot and require to be dug into the ground for a minimum of 500mmm for railings and 700mm for balustrades. They then need to be concreted in place and left to dry before fixing the panels in place.
