Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before placing an order with Trade Gates Direct. By completing your purchase, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.

 

About Us

Trade Gates Direct is an online retailer supplying gates and related products to customers in England. Products are delivered via third-party courier services. No customer account is required to place an order.

 

Product Information

We take reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions, and prices of products appearing on our website are correct. However:

• Colours may vary depending on screen settings. We strongly recommend that you view physical samples or colour swatches before ordering.
• Images are for illustrative purposes only and may not exactly reflect the actual product.

 

Customer Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• Providing accurate measurements for your gate(s).
• Ensuring you select the correct gate type, size, and colour.
• Conducting all necessary due diligence before purchasing, including verifying access restrictions and product suitability.

Trade Gates Direct is not responsible for errors made in measurements, incorrect product selection, or dissatisfaction with colour choice.

 

Order Process

Once your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email.

If your order includes customisation or design:

• You have 72 hours from the time of checkout to request amendments to your design.
• After 72 hours, your order enters production and no further changes can be made.

If you opt for Speedy Fabrication, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Production will begin immediately.
• You are forfeiting your statutory right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

 

Delivery

• We deliver only within England using third-party couriers.
• Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.
• We are not liable for delays or delivery issues once the product is in the hands of the courier.

 

Returns & Cancellations

Under UK law, you may have a right to cancel your order within 14 days unless:

• Your product is made to order or clearly personalised.
• You selected Speedy Fabrication (see Section 4).

If eligible, cancellations or returns must follow our Returns Policy. Goods must be returned unused, in their original packaging, and at your own cost.

 

Faulty or Damaged Goods

If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange for a replacement or refund in accordance with your statutory rights.

 

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses.
• We are not liable for installation errors, misuse, or failure to follow product instructions.

 

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including images, text, and product designs, remains the property of Trade Gates Direct and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

 

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
